Normally, I wouldn’t be wearing shorts in November; but Chicago has been so sweet to us with its warm climate that I just couldn’t resist. Although I wore shorts for this look, I still wanted to make sure to incorporate essentials for the fall season.

But what exactly makes a fall look become THE fall look?

My go-to signature piece for the fall would have to be boots without a doubt. The amount of varieties that are out can be overwhelming in a good way. A girl can never have too many boots but if I had to pick a style for the season, I would choose these over the knee babies. The good thing with over the knee boots is that you can always roll them down or wear them as is; it’s like two in one. Over the knee boots are also the perfect pair of boots because your legs can stay warm while also being stylish.
