Is there anything better than bank holiday weekends? If it were up to me, there would be three days off in a row every week. These long weekends are ideal for discovering the city and visit new places you've never been before, like the "Märchenbrunnen", a fountain inspired by fairy tales, in Berlin's beautiful Volkspark Friedrichshain.
I chose my new favourite 70s style leather jacket as an outfit base for wandering around the beautiful park. I really love how it fits the fringe/70s mega trend of 2015 so perfectly. But given the fact that I am not really a trend hunter – or worse, a fashion victim – I chose to mix the look up and infuse it with a bit of a 50s vibe. The polka dot skirt makes a perfect pairing with my new American Apparel retro sandals, don't you think? Hope you like my "50s meets 70s" outfit as much as I do!
