I'm not someone to go head over heels for a trend, but fringe intrigued me enough to let a little into my wardrobe. I decided that the tassel of fringe on the side of these Jasmine wedge sandals from Ami Clubwear gives a me a little fringe without coming off looking like a cowgirl. Not to mention getting in on the wedge trend, which is huge.
I got a last minute invitation to blogger event for DenTek and since they sent a car I was able to indulge in my love of heels. I wore the Jasmine wedge sandals with my fave Citizen Ciao tshirt and my hand painted Ditto'sboyfriend jeans. The fringe just added to the punky look.
I co-hosted a shopping event at Jade & Jasper jewelry recently and since I was baking cookies and gathering giveaway samples, I left dressing until almost too late. I decided on this tried and true discount store dress of sherbet colors and the jasmine wedges. I added my aqua Southern Tide summer cardigan when I got outside- I love wearing color in the summer, it feels super feminine and it makes me smile.
This was a late night playing in the closet session, messing around with clothing samples (not to mention matching pieces to make it easier for me to get dressed when going out). I decided that this ultra conservative silky navy blazer would look amazing with this Ami Clubwear bohemian print romper. I've been working out and losing weight since January, and I love the way that the Jasmine wedge sandals make my legs look super long.
I did a photo shoot with Alissa Nichole of Originally Remixed and she wore a cutout metallic Mirame Arlete monokini ($159) and paired it with a sweet patterned ruffled skirt thing from her collection, plus the Jasmine wedge heels from Ami Clubwear . It was a cute, festival faerie look tha we improvised and the fringed sandals were the perfect finishing touch.
