Last fall, the cape scarf (aka ruana, poncho, open poncho, blanket scarf) was my favorite trend and it’s one of the trends I’m most excited about this fall. Of course they are beautiful and stylish, but they can also entirely hide your body. I mean, obvious win. Plus, it basically lets you get away with wearing a blanket in public. Double win.
I’m also extra excited about felt panama hats right now. Except I’d like them more if they didn’t collect every breezy dust particle that crosses their path. A simple lint roller is helpful, but not an absolute solution. If you’ve figured out the trick to a lint-free hat will you please let me in on your secret? And while we’re on the topic of amazing felt hats, do you recognize the one above? It’s the hat in my current sidebar pic and it was probably my most worn hat last fall season. I have a decent little collection of hats at the moment and I can’t wait to wear them with anything and everything in the coming months. With all the rain we’ve had lately, they also serve as an excellent bad hair day solution…and one that is sure to win you some compliments at that.
Hope you’ve had an amazing week. I am so ready for the weekend.
Much love,
