Artscape Street Style 2015
I briefly wrote in my previous post my love for Baltimore and what’s more Baltimore than Artscape? This was my first year attending the free outdoor arts & music festival and I had a blast. Ok, I lied. Everything there looked amazing and fun but the 103 degree heat index had me feeling seriously ill and unable to walk around like I had wanted. I really tried. And I truly failed. My goal was to go and shoot street style to place on the blog but that just did not happen. While I shot a few people, it was not enough to dedicate a full post to nor did it do Charm City any justice so I scratched that.
This is a super quick post featuring my super laid back outfit that I wore to roam the city streets. Again, I am rocking my unifrom of a white shirt and denim cutoffs but this time I changed it up with a plaid shirt around the waist, some leopard slip on sneakers and my favorite belt bag aka fanny pack! Thank you Teena for snapping these!
This last pic looks like an ad for Deer Park water and I promise it is not. In order to replenish ourselves we were drink bottles after bottles of that good old H2O…. I still cannot believe we chose to be outside?!?!?!? Shoot Location: Near the corner of East Chase Street and St. Paul
As I will do in ending most of my posts now, I will leave you with my Baltimore Spot of The Day….
Today I choose Grano Pasta Bar in Hampden. This is definitely not a fancy schmancy Italian restaurant but it truly has some of the yummiest pasta I had had. When I got there I felt like I was at home watching a distant Italian relative cooking my fave dish before me as I sipped on wine at the kitchen counter. Its so homey! Although it tends to be a little steamy in there in the summer due to the fact they cook the pasta pretty much right in front of you, its a great spot in the Spring or Fall. Oh did I mention its BYOB with a very minimal uncorking fee? I highly suggest you go with your own delicious bottle and choose the carbonara. It was to die for and you will get your food VERY quickly…. its made to order and uber fresh! Actually I may go there this weekend….. any one want to indulge with me?
