I'm no stranger to the Ankara full maxi skirt or Ankara/African print outfits in general. If you've been following me long enough, you would remember my Ankara outfits.

I've been obsessed with these long Ankara full skirt styles so i decided to try one myself. Technically, this skirt is a dress but since i didn't have the skirt but i had an old dress i wasn't wearing which had same waist style, i cut it from the waist and converted it to a skirt by myself. Hope i did a good job.

I love that this type of skirts can be styled with different types of tops; crop, knotted, shirts, blouses, etc.

The one secret to rocking Ankara is keeping every other thing as plain and simple as you can to really get the focus on the beautiful prints and avoid looking like a walking circus.
