Oh the joys of makeup tricks! I love hearing about new moisturizes and new hair ticks. I received a free sample of Seventh Generation Skin Serum from Lucky and Seventh Generation and I love it. It is a great serum that actually absorbs perfectly into the skin. I find a lot of other serums remain sticky for hours but this one quickly absorbed into my skin…ahhh happiness! Even better 100% botanical formulas in this! My other new trick is leaving my hair in a low bun while I get ready. I pin my hair up as soon as I wake up and begin my makeup process. Todays is an all natural look.
First I always moisturize and give that a few minutes to set in. For the natural look on my eyes I prefer to use bronzer as eye shadow and then use benefit’s high beam under my brows/corner of my eyes. Then I move onto my Two Faced Naked makeup pallet. I use the black shadow and an eye liner bush to create a smooth line for my eye liner. I always wing it upward…but just a bit. Then I apply about three coats of mascara and done with the eyes. Now that my moisturizer is dry I mix my Lumene BB cream and Mac Strobe Cream for a shimmery natural look. To finish this off I use Maybelline powder to set everything in. Line the lips with a pink liner and apply nude gloss, take the hair down (you should see some loose curls) and you are done and out the door!
