These espadrilles are quickly becoming my new favorite shoe. Not only are they super cute and go with everything, they are ridiculously comfy, too! Like, walking on a cloud, comfy. If you're following along on Insta you know it's quite essential for my tootsies to be cozy, as we're trompin' around down here in Austin. Also important: lightweight cotton, because let me tell you...it's hot!

I grew up in Cali in a particularly hotter-than-hell climate, but being that I've lived in Colorado for over five years now, I totally forgot how miserable heat can really be. I guess in my home town (Bakersfield), we didn't spend a lot of time outside though. You'd drive in your air conditioned car, to your air conditioned home or restaurant. Austin's different though. There's SO much to do outside, and you're typically walking from one exciting place to the next. The heat really begins to catch up with you. Solution: hydrate! (In between mimosas, of course!)
