TRY THIS: Seventh Generation All Natural Skin Serum for Hydration

Most of us use the words moisturize and hydrate interchangeably, am I right? But, do they really mean the same thing? The answer is, technically no. When it comes to hair or skin care, moisturizing and hydrating products were created to perform two different functions.

Moisturizing Products are what add a healthy layer of hydro-lipid film to the epidermis layer of the skin, or the hair. Moisturizers are intended to keep the skin soft and supple and the hair full of sheen.

Hydrating Products are what provide water content to the skin or hair. It also plumps the skin and is better for those who suffer from dry to very dry skin. My skin is funny and I have combination skin. During the summer, my face is pretty normal but during the colder months, my nose, forehead and cheek areas will become dry and the skin sometimes becomes flaky. This is when I know it's hydration time! Your body will talk to you and tell you what it needs, we just need to learn to listen a little closer.

The Seventh Generation Skin Serum is ideal for hydrating dry skin. I like to use it a couple times a week just to keep any dry skin under control. The oil has a very soft, barely-there floral scent. It's a light oil and doesn't clog my skin at all. It's all natural and contains beneficial ingredients for the skin and hair such as baobab, apricot oil, jojoba oil, mint, rosemary and algae. The Seventh Generation Skin Serum is also hypo-allergenic so it is safe for all skin types.
