Jeans: Levi’s various options | Sweater: Kohl’s similar | Top: Forever 21 | Hat: Forever 21 love this | Necklace: Dress Lily similar
I never thought too much of boyfriend jeans until recently because I love the look of skinnies. But when my mom gave me a pair of rejected Levi’s that she had originally bought for my brother, I began to experiment with the look. While this pair is quite slouchy as they are clearly intended to be worn by a man but have been turned boyfriend jean by me, there are a variety of different types out there. If you don’t love the bagginess of an option like this, plenty of boyfriend jean styles offer a much more fitted silhouette.
Here I have paired them with a button-up and oversized sweater, perfect for a colder day. But boyfriend jeans can be glammed up when paired with pumps or ankle boots and a blazer. Or they can be dressed down when worn with a logo tee and cute sneakers. For a preppier look, they are even cute with a more structured button-up shirt that is either tucked in just at the front or tied in a knot at the bottom, along with a pair of flats.
Have you tried the boyfriend jean trend yet?
