Day two of NYFW was probably the most bearable in terms of air temperature, a balmy 20 something degrees, so I opted for cozy layers and a more casual silhouette. As soon as I saw these blue tinted aviators from Foster Grant I knew I had to plan my outfit around them. They have a subtle purple tint to them, so I wore white and navy to play off the colors in the shades. And I think I’m realizing now that purple and blue are complimentary colors for red hair. So far the at the shows the trends I’ve seen that I’ve liked are textured coats (think mohair and animal prints), rich earthy tones (burgundy, olive greens, camel), and tailored silhouettes (slim fit trousers, pencil skirts). I have so much more for the shows and street style to share over the next few days so stay tuned!
