One of my favorite trends this season is the resurgence of the 1970s. If the stunning fall couture collection from Dior is any indication, this trend won't be going away anytime soon. While I'm not particularly fond of certain 70s essentials (wide-leg jeans, the peasant blouse, anything brown), I am perpetually inspired by the decade's sleek separates, opulent accessories, and bohemian touches such as fringe.
That's where this fringe kimono comes in. I originally purchased it as a potential cover-up for a swimsuit, but my new summer staple has proven to be even more useful in spicing up my typical uniform of a striped T-shirt and jeans. I like to pair this statement piece with fresh white jeans, a classic cross body bag with a subtle tassel, and leopard clogs for a modern bohemian touch.
