happy tuesday everyone! we are one step closer to friday. is it sad that i am already counting down?

anyways…. last week i had the opportunity to go see fleetwood mac in concert. i have loved them for so long and honestly never thought that i would get a chance to see them together…live. honestly it was one of the best concerts i have ever been to. end of story. they were amazing. the vocals, the musical tangents it was awesome.

to go to such a concert requires careful outfit selection. too into the 70’s and you could look like you are going to a halloween party. but this is not a glitter tank top kinda of concert either. i do not go to glitter tank top concerts. so yea. the best person for this job was definitely (and again as always) free people. i snagged this dress on mega sale at nordstrom for $50! it’s the perfect hint of 70’s prairie – ish hippy lace and still tailored and modern.

it was also like 5 degrees outside so i paired it with tights and my favorite booties. this is the coat i was telling you about earlier. when i wandered into the express clearance. it was still more than i wanted to pay but it was too perfect. plus it completed the outfit i thought? can’t beat a faux fur coat on clearance. plus it was screaming carrie bradshaw and what girl doesn’t want to be carrie bradshaw am i right?
