Simple Style Secrets

I recently posted about the fact that my personal style was evolving into something more simple in terms of cuts and color palettes. Don't get me wrong, I admire those who can easily carry off a glamorous day-to-day look, but my look runs more along the lines of laidback and easy. So, when Seventh Generation reached out to me to explore their new skin serum and discuss my natural style secrets [#allnaturalstylesecrets] -- it was a no-brainer.

Throughout the years my skin routine has undergone its own simplification. I love using oils on my face -- and this one is no different. Despite my skin being somewhat of a 'combo' type, I still battle typical teenage skin issues from time to time. Since these Seventh Generation serums are all-natural and plant-based, I don't have to worry about my skin freaking out at the drop of a hat. (Yeah, that's right - you drop a hat and my skin will go nutty as a fruitcake.) But in all seriousness, I have to be very keen to treat my skin consistently with quality, non-harsh products.

Speaking of evolving, I thought I'd share one of my favorite summer-into-fall dressing options. I always gravitate towards maxi dresses and skirts. I have no rhyme or reason and quite frankly when I first noticed them a couple years ago, I was not too fond. I usually like to wear a maxi skirt at my natural waist and pair it with a knotted tank top for the best proportion. To head into fall, all we have to do is swap out the shoes and add a jacket (or sweater). How do you keep your look simplified and easy?
