I've never been one of those super hippie dippie all organic all the time kinds of girls. I (sometimes) eat fast food, I like boxed macaroni and cheese, and my sheets are from the cheap section of Target. For some reason though, my face care routine has shifted towards the all natural over the last six months or so. I've been struggling with hormonal acne for just about as long as I've known what hormones are, so after years of slathering on creams and medication and popping pills, I've tried to be a little bit more natural about my skincare. I've switched to using coconut oil as a make-up remover, I use tea tree oil for acne, and I tend to stick to to more expensive section of the Target skincare aisle. Therefore, I was thrilled when I got the chance to try out Seventh Generation Natural Skin Boosting Serum.
First of all, I didn't know that they even make skin products (and neither did my roommate because she thought I was slathering hand sanitizer on my face), but they do - it's a new line with all natural skin-boosting serums. Each night after removing my makeup and washing my face with a gentle cleanser, I take two pumps and work it into my skin. While it is an oil, it absorbs quickly, and is clinically proven to be hypoallergenic, which is great for those of us with sensitive skin. I've only been using it for a week, so I can't say for sure what the long term effects are going to be, but so far I wake up with soft skin, and even with the current stresses in my life (hello, 8 tests in 8 days), my skin is feeling refreshed. If you are looking for a new addition to your natural skin care regime, Seventh Generation products are a great please to start.
