according to Lucky Magazine and their community page, so I have submitted my fabulous hot pink dress and it really is perfect timing, because I just took these pics a couple of weeks ago for my blog. Pink is the new red.

So looking at my blog and my pictures I'm sure you can see that I am not one to avoid color - in fact I love color. It brings life to my face and I guess it can make me feel a bit cheery sometimes. I was looking for a tight fitting dress this summer something a bit sexy that would hug my curves, now this is a little bit out of my norm, because if you look at my pics I don't really dress this way, it's usually jeans, pants a top, but not anything so form fitting. What I wanted to do was challenge myself to wear it and own it and what I mean by owning is own the dress not let the dress own me and by that I mean, let my insecurities show while wearing the dress and I did just that.

How did I do it? Well, the truth is it's all in your mind. I told myself to just freaking do it, be natural about it and smile and that was it. I promise no photoshop is involved. I am a firm believer that what you believe is sent out to the universe and returns to you. Like being nice and kind, someone will be nice and kind to you, because it's all over you, it's who you are, because you have decided in your mind to be nice and kind. Same is for loving your body even those insecurities. Anyway, I guess I just had to talk about the insecurities of a woman, because that was the big thing when I decided to buy and take pictures in this dress, but I am wearing some serious Spanx that's for sure.

Now, for those of you who have never worn Spanx let me tell you, it's not that great or comfortable and it does not make you look 5 lbs. thinner either, all it does is hide the rolls, or makes your belly fat flat. In this picture I am wearing the shorts, here is a direct link: Higher Power Short

Love these little shorts, they go up to my bra and cover my back fat making it all look smooth and they also have a hole in the crotch part to go pee, maybe to much information, but just thought I would let you know.
