Ever feel like you have split wardrobe personalities? Myself, I'm comfortable in either destroyed denim and a tee or princess attire - nothing in between. Sunday night I opted for the latter as I headed out on the town in a beautiful floral midi skirt and cropped top, both from Honey here in the Greater Toronto Area. Honey is a store that is very special to me since it's been my go-to when dressing for a special occasion, outfitting me for my engagement party, bridal shower, rehearsal dinner and all birthdays. I'm always guaranteed to find something show-stopping when browsing their racks, and this floral midi skirt and crop top are no exception. You know it's going to be a good night when your internal debate is wether your outfit makes you feel like a princess or Carrie Bradshaw (it's still a toss up.)

You guys know how much I love me a good floral skirt, so it's no surprise that I'm obsessed with this soft-pink number. I never thought that a midi skirt could be flattering on a petite frame, but paired with a sleek heel it becomes very figure-flattering. Midi skirts are great for those of us who carry our weight in our bottom half; the natural volume of the skirt hides any insecurities beautifully, and really draws attention to your waist.
This cut-out cropped top is seriously out of my comfort zone, but I'm loving to look of it paired with a more conservative, high-waisted skirt.
"...And then the handsome prince found the princess who's shoe fit, and they lived happily ever after." Just kidding, I'll just stick to being a city slicking, part-time princess and besides I would never be foolish enough to lose a shoe - I love those things!
Are you guys digging the floral midi skirt and crop top look? Do you have a go-to store when you're in the market for something special. Let me know!
