I am going through a major obsession with denim overalls. I got this pair last year and it was love at first sight. I fell in love with the slim fit and style of these overalls. It was the only pair I found after months of searching that didn't make me feel like I belong on a farm. Best part, the material is incredibly soft and comfortable that I have been guilty of sleeping in them, no jokes.
Styling denim overalls is extremely easy, it's all about finding the right shirt, shoes and accessories. Here are some rules I follow when it comes to styling my slim fit denim overalls.

1. Say no to plaid if you don't want to look like you belong on a farm.
2. Stripes are perfect if you want to look chic. Go for black/white or in my case, blue/white.
3. If your overalls are a slim fit, like mine, go for a slim fit top. If you want to wear a large top, go for one with delicate female details such as ruffles or lace.
4. If you want to look chic, pair your overalls with chunky heels and modern accessories. Avoid stacking your arm with loads of bangles. The goal is to look effortless and not weighed down.

I kept my accessories at a minimum starting with my favourite ‘Peace Medallion‘ necklace from my friend Liliana. This necklace is a huge love for me. I have been wearing this necklace non-stop because I am completely in love with how she beautifully she sculpted it and the personal message that means a great deal to me. With my ‘Peace Medallion‘ necklace, I wore my favourite tassel necklace that I bought at whim for only $35!
