Well, I made it through the first week at the new job. I have to say, I feel really good about it. I definitely made the right move because I love my school and am happy to go to work. Everyone has been wonderful and so have the kids. I miss some of my girls from my old school but happy that they aren't far away! :)
Lately, I've become obsessed with all of the fall fashion trends emerging in the magazines. Particularly, trends like fringe, neutrals, bandannas, lace up heels, wide brimmed fedoras, minimalism, and of course--off the shoulder tops have all struck my fancy lately.
However, finding the perfect off the shoulder top was a lot tougher than I originally thought it was going to be. I wanted to find a top that flattered and wasn't cropped. This one fit the bill while simultaneously being cute with its bohemian-type print. And of course blue is my favorite color, so naturally I gravitated toward this one. I believe it's on sale right now on Shopbop for around $30.
I've also gotten into rings as of late. This roman numeral ring from Sorella Jewelry is the newest addition to my daily jewelry ensemble. Being made of sterling silver, it goes perfectly with my engagement ring and is the perfect delicate statement for everyday. The store's most popular ring is also available in other metals like 10k yellow and white gold, 14k yellow, white, and rose gold, palladium, and platinum. Best part is, you get to pick a date that's special to you, making it the perfect gift for someone (even if that someone is yourself!). I love how thick it is and how obviously well-made. Sorella makes every item to order and does custom work daily.
I chose my birthday because it's a date that will always stay with me. I'm hoping to get another eventually with Nate and my wedding date on it. I just love the idea of having a piece of jewelry so personal for everyday wear--it's like the new monogram necklace. If you're looking to fimd a special birthday gift, anniversary gift, or even wedding gift browse their site {Facebook & Instagram} and check them out, they're amazing.
Switching topics right quick--if you're in the Orlando or Tampa area, come check out Whimsy Boutique [where I got these shorts!] from 4-7pm where I'll be hosting their end-of-summer soiree where you'll get goodie bags, styling advice, makeup, music, skincare, and much more while enjoying time with the girls. Bring whoever, everyone's invited! I'm bringing Nate, we'll see how badly he wants to kill me after hanging out around clothes and makeup even more than normal... :)
