I love a good monochromatic look and wear them often, especially when I don't know what else to wear. In my opinion, monochromatic looks are easy to put together, at least in neutral shades like black, white, grey, etc.— all of which I have worn on the blog/instagram before. I find non-neutral shades a little more challenging to pull off, but you know me, I like a good fashion challenge ;)
I feel like its been way to long since I last wore one of my favorite colors, pink, so I may have decided to wear it head-to-toe this past Sunday at church…. and I don't hate it!
I had this new pink cutout midi skirt that I have been wanting to wear but didn't know quit how I wanted to style it at first. To avoid looking to much like a princess in my head-to-toe pink, I paired my skirt with a casual tee. I actually got this tee with one of my fabletics workout outfits last month. Its soft, comfy and the prettiest blush pink that matched my skirt perfectly. I also really love the rolled sleeves on it.
For accessories, I went with a blush patent pump and ballerina pink Kate Spade bag. I even wore pink nails and a pink lip! I did however add a little white in my look with my tassel earrings, though they had pink at the top. I also decided to go with leopard print sunglasses, instead of pink, to avoid looking completely washed out.
