The funny thing about retro sportswear is that it never truly went out of style. We say "back to basics," but retro sport style is about as basic as the Bauhaus movement. Primary colors are accented by their complementary colors. Tints and tones come full-bodied, in thick stripes, or in geometric shapes.

As someone who shies away from bright colors on a typical day, I think when it comes to sports, it's best to be bolder. For me, where retro sport fashion succeeds is its application of color. Your basic ROY G. BIV pigments look great in motion and never fail to stand out in a crowd (unless everyone is, you know, wearing the same neon orange). What's not to love about bright, bold high top sneakers and chunky sweats? This chick has been riding Retro bandwagon for a decade, and we're still rolling.
