Returning from a holiday can be the worst. One day you’re in paradise, the next day you’re accepting calls and on the work computer again. It’s hard, but I’ve learned to cope by thinking of the excursions in the future. How I like my holidays? I like to be in a warm place, not necessarily on a beach but maybe with the option of sand and water. I just am not that person who can lie by the beach all day and do absolutely nothing. I get bored really quick and start bugging, litterally like a little child. That’s why I like having the option of something new to discover and a city which I can ransack. I’ve got 4 holidays which i’m looking forward to, which will take me from Sylt to Ibiza to Greece to Dubai. I’ve never been to Sylt, a rumoured place where the high-snobiety and hangers on, go to luxuriate. Forget whale watching, I will definitely be people watching. I can spend days doing that. The largest North Frisian island is also a popular destination for fine food and water sports. Going to Ibiza was a surprise from my sister for my birthday in July, which will be ah-mazing since it’s main season and I invited my dear friend Mehtap from Exotique TV to come along which certainly means it’s going to be a wild girls trip. I’ve never been, so it’s going to be a lovely experience which we will be sharing. In Fall, I will be in Greece and taking in the Greek sun. Last year I visited Athens and Mykonos, Post 2, Post 3, which I documented on my blog. We even met two sisters from England with connections to the fashion industry which was so random but we had such a great time and still keep in contact ’til today. Last but not least, Dubai is calling. It has always been a place which I planned on visiting since… who doesn’t want to go to Dubai? I can’t think about that too much now though since i’ll be there over New Years so it’s still a century away. Yea, I’m pretty booked out but keeping an eye open because that travel bug in me can’t sit still, just like me.
