I am often asked about putting together looks that are natural and effortless. Here are a few of my secrets for creating that type of look. #AllNaturalStyleSecrets

1. Your makeup should look like you aren't wearing any makeup. The best way to do that is to start with good skin. I have extremely sensitive skin and I try to use products that do not contain too many harsh ingredients. So when Lucky Magazine and Seventh Generation approached me about testing out their new Seventh Generation Skin Serum I was anxious to give it a try. I am using the "Soothing" Serum. I received a free sample of this product from Lucky and Seventh Generation for use in connection with this blog. I love how it has soothed the redness out of my face. After applying the serum, I finish with a little BB Cream, lip gloss, and mascara.

2. Wash and go hair gives you a natural look and saves a ton of valuable time in the morning. Talk with your hairdresser about a wash and go look that will work with your hair type. My long hair and bangs allows me to let it air dry to give it a natural look and still look pulled together.

3. Your outfit should be casual and allow you the freedom to move around. This does not translate to sweats. Boyfriend style pants and t-shirts or in today's case a sleeveless shell are a comfortable easy mix that can still give a stylish vibe. If you can still chase down your 6 year old at the playground you know you chose wisely.

4. Accent you look with jewelry that looks vintage or has leather accents. Both work well to give a natural Bohemian look.

5. Always have fun with whatever it is that you are doing. Remember, even Mary Poppins made cleaning up fun. Enjoy your life and you will always look natural and effortless.
