I love the Canadian Tux as much as the next girl, though I can’t believe it’s made such a recovery since the Brittney Spears and Justin Timberlake denim disaster, but I decided I had to edge it up a bit.

I have always been a fan of faux fur but it seemed out of place in the small town of Wausau where I grew up, but thankfully Michiganders seem to really embrace fur. The colored fur has been a big debate for me because it always seemed too wild to be versatile but this coat is the perfect shade for me and my skin tone. I decided to give it a girly feel by pairing the coat with my snakeskin kitten heels which are perfect for a day (or night) full of activities.
