One of the things I love about blogging is taking a risk with the unexpected. I am your guinea pig, but I am happy to do it! For the past couple years, optics have been transformed into a fashion statement. Frames have become bolder and reflect the wearers personality and character. Thick black wayfarers seem hipster, while sleek cat eyes a little more retro. There is so much personality with this one little functional accessory. Working on your frame game has become a thing.

I don’t have bad vision by any means, but after spending long amounts of time reading and staring at a screen, my eyes become tired. This was the perfect excuse to get some glasses for reading {and wearing out and about on occasion} I originally chose tortoise, rectangular frames that were great and could go with everything — they are timeless, but not exactly trendy or fashionable. However, a couple weeks ago I stumbled upon these beauties {the color is what got me} When thick frames started to become a trend, they were mainly in darker colors, but with spring and summer coming along, dark can be a little too heavy and harsh. Opt for a lighter or even clear frame, like mine. They are fun and bring so much brightness to your face!
