Hello! Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! Mine was wonderful as always and it's been so nice to see family. The view from where I stand in these pictures is One World Trade Center, also known as Freedom Tower. What was once the site of Ground Zero is now home to the tallest building in New York City, and the fourth tallest in the world. Matt and I were in Battery park exploring and looking at the Statue of Liberty from afar (the closest place to see her without getting on a ferry) before we made our way to the 9/11 memorial. The memorial pools are inscribed with each of the victims names, and are beautiful. Although a sad sight you could tell a lot of heart and hard work went in to making the memorials. We went to Chelsea Market afterwards and explored that side of town. New York went by like a breeze and every day was an adventure. This vest is one of my favorites as it combines faux fur and gold chains which I love. It's very warm as well which was perfect for layering in NY. You can't beat the price of this pom pom beanie either (under $10, and it comes in three colors. Stock up!! I have a new bow jacket on my wish list as well and adore this one! I'm enjoying the rest of my time with family until Matt and I head back home on Sunday. Enjoy your weekend!!!
