Denim (and more denim)

I don't hide the fact that I love denim, and I'm really into the double denim trend right now. It's so easy because you can really mix any denim wash together, and it looks instantly put together. I got this denim top at the Vince outlet in San Marcos last year on black Friday. If you live in TX and haven't ever been to the San Marcos outlets, you need to go; they have anything and everything you could ever want. The shirt came out to $40 after the sales, which I was fine spending. My only complaint is that the button holes are too large, and the top button comes loose sometimes. I easily fixed this problem by putting fashion tape (double-sided tape that can be found here. I always keep some with me in my purse) in between the top 2 buttons. This helped the top not pull apart, and the button stayed where it was supposed to be (larger-chested gals know this is a struggle. I use the fashion tape quite a bit for tops that pull). These Rag & Bone jeans have been a favorite ever since I got them in a trade on Posh. They say they are "capri" length, but they are more cropped than capri in my opinion. I wore my new (to me) lace up flats that I'm completely obsessed with, even though they caused a few blisters after walking a few miles in them. I have been eyeing lace-up flats for a long time, and almost bought the Topshop leather version for $100. My patience paid off, and I got these Stuart Weitzman ones for $80 on Poshmark that had been worn one time! I went simple with accessories, and wore all rose gold pieces that I found in Greece. Now that we are back, I am wishing I had picked up a few more items, because the dainty pieces are so easy to wear and layer together.
