I wear most of my Ankara pieces to either church, an African themed red carpet event or to a party(weddings or birthday celebrations). One look at this dress, and you can tell where it will not be going to lol. I choose to let my hair stay down with the outfit because there was already a lot of exposure going on, I added the gold statement necklace as a little covering for my neck and I chose these black pumps so as to keep the focus on the dress and it's color. My other shoe color choice was red (i think i love red a little too much ha!)

One thing you can probably tell from looking at these images is that i was having super fun with my photographer. All i could hear in the background was "you better work sis" "yes, that smile" "no, not that pose" lol.
