Want to know my #AllNaturalStyleSecrets that gets me through the summer? Let’s be honest, who wears make up to the beach, lake or any body of water? No matter how much makeup promises to be waterproof, it always comes off. I’m always looking for an all natural skin regiment, which is why I jumped at the opportunity to try a sample of Seventh Generation Boosts Firming with Baobab.
Does this brand sound familiar? You guessed it! They also make environmentally friendly cleaning supplies from laundry detergent to recycled paper towels. I don’t like using harsh chemicals to clean my clothes, so why would I be ok with putting it on my face? I’m not. Are you?
The Seventh Generation skincare line is an alternative solution to the mainstream skincare products. There are only five ingredients, and they all have names I can pronounce! The Firming Serum consists of Carrier Oil (Apricot, Almond and Grapeseed Oil), Brown Algae, Baobab, Rosemary Extract and Peppermint!
This serum goes on clear and is a little oily. I didn’t mind since my Asian skin is very dry, and I’m always looking for ways to replenish and moisturize my face and body!
The Firming Serum gave me the perfect summer glow to Shoot the Hooch (What Atlantians call floating on tubes down the Chattahoochee River) this past Sunday. I definitely could tell that skin was strengthen, and so did all my girlfriends!
I only wore the Seventh Generation Firming Serum and Waterproof Mascara.
Hat – Scala
Bathing Suit – Top is from H&M and Bottom is from Vietnam boutique
Shirt – H&M
Good News! You can have my look too! This plant-based skin care will be offering their all natural skin serum line in Walgreens starting July 2013!
But I’ll be honest. I’m a big tree hugger. I even picked up a floating beer can on the river (not mine) so I could throw it away when I got out. It can be difficult, but I try and live a sustainable life. I’m a big supporter of the green industry, and I believe in the power of purchasing. Buying from companies like Seventh Generation is a step in the right direction for humanity because it is a vote for future generations.
