When it comes to personal style, I’m usually a devout believer of the “more is more” philosophy (think: piled-on statement jewels, brightly-colored tops and pants, loads of rings). Yet sometimes, there’s something so refreshing about going back to basics and sporting an au naturale look. So today, in partnership with Lucky and Seventh Generation, I share with you my #AllNaturalStyleSecrets.
My look starts with Seventh Generation Boosts, a new line of concentrated, all-natural skin serums ($14.99, exclusively at Walgreens). These serums are the latest expansion of Seventh Generation’s personal care items, and they fall directly in line with the brand’s other products: they’re free of parabens, phthalates, harsh preservatives, and synthetic fragrances. These pure, plant-based serums contain no water or other fillers, (so they absorb quickly into your complexion), are hypoallergenic, and won’t clog pores.
There are six formulations in the serum line-up: Soothing, Hydrating, Firming, Revitalizing, Protecting, and Clearing. I received the Soothing formula for this post. I lightly pat a thin veil of this on my face to lay the foundation for the rest of my look. This product can also be used to “boost” the effects of other products, too; mix it into your favorite moisturizer or eye cream for added benefits.
From there, my I keep my beauty routine as streamlined as possible. I’m not the kind of girl who can go out bare-faced and feel great; believe me when I say these are my bare-necessity essentials. Clockwise from left: Seventh Generation Boosts in Soothing, MAC Pro Longwear Bronzer in Temperature Rising, NARS Illuminator in Copacabana, Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler, Sigma F80 Flat Kabuki Brush, Laura Mercier Illuminating Tinted Moisturizer in Bare Radiance, Make Up For Ever Smoky Extravagant Mascara, Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Ash Blonde, Urban Decay Naked Palette.
The final step is a pulled-together, classic outfit. To me, all-natural style is clean and timless. Here is my take on a perfect, all-natural summer look. I’ve paired a J.Crew Classic Schoolboy Blazer in Dotted Linen with cuffed white jeans from LOFT and a simple white tank. I accessorized with J.Crew’s Crystal Compilation necklace and Steve Madden’s Cufff sandals in Cognac.
My favorite element of the outfit is the bold necklace, which has a vintage feel and contrasts nicely with the crisp lapel of the blazer.

For me, even an all-natural look wouldn’t be complete without a helping of bold jewelry. The anchoring piece is the J.Crew Crystal Compilation necklace, which gives off a ton of sparkle. A mix of bold and dainty pieces even out the rest of the jewelry. I threw in some danity midi rings to mix it up and of course, wore my everyday Michael Kors watch.
My two essential pieces: my YSL Arty Ring in turquoise, and my Stella & Dot Renegade Cluster Bracelet.
Finally, a jumbled stack of Alex & Ani Bangles jangle just enough on my wrist to give my outfit some movement.
And there you have it: a quick guide to my all-natural style secrets. What are yours? I’d love to hear them, so share them in the comments!
