ALL ABOUT CHAMBRAY

I love an outfit that I can walk around in all day without being uncomfortable, and this one does the trick. This chambray top is a favorite $5 Goodwill score, and it’s the softest shirt EVER; I could sleep in it. Chambray (a very similar fabric to denim; the difference is in how the thread is sewn together) tops are on trend right now and look great with any color jean. I stayed on the comfort side of the spectrum and went with these black destroyed J Brand jeans that I got from Poshmark for only $15. I prefer to wear stretchy jeans due to knee problems as regular jeans put too much stress on my knee caps when I bend them, so jeans with holes are even better as they put no pressure on my knees at all (who knew hole-y jeans had a purpose?!). Slip ons are my go-to casual shoe because you don’t have to worry about laces, and they are sporty but cool (they are also great for work since I have to wear closed-toe leather uppers). I got these slip ons last year from the Nordstrom Anniversary sale and wear them a ton! This is basically my work uniform, minus the extra jewelry and holes in the jeans. It’s nice to be able to mix it up sometimes!

PS. Hour-long car rides are bad for outfit pictures…everything gets wrinkled. But hey, at least you can see how this shirt fares with wrinkles!
