A New Hat

In regards to this post, I’m debuting my new hat (and wearing it to the airport) but I had been on the hunt for several weeks for the perfect topper for my Fall outfits. I actually have a lot of trouble finding hats that fit my head (read: it’s a large one) but everything changed when I visited Goorin Bros. They are the oldest hat maker in the United States, still family run and have the coolest selection of hats you’ve ever seen. I visited the Nolita store the other week and had a time trying on a variety of hats. They each come in a handful of sizes making finding the right one rather easy (I had trouble picking one out there were so many I loved!)

I settled on one of their most popular styles, The County Line, for its versatility and the fact that it can roll up and easily be traveled with! File under: #brilliant. I also worked with the awesome store manager Gina who helped me pick out the feathers that you can customize at their Feather Bars and either remove when you want a more clean look or add for a bit of flare. I loved them paired with this suede skirt.
