Wardrobe Staple : A Little White Tee

A white t shirt is probably one of the most versatile shirts you could own. Most people own a white tee and sadly a few weeks ago I realized I didn't. A what? Yes. One had gotten ruined in the dryer and another took one for the team during lunch with my littles involving ketchup and chicken nuggets. I took the opportunity and scoured online to see what kind of fit I wanted. I quickly realized I wanted something slouchy, but not boxy, have shorter sleeves (so I could layer for the cool Fall months) and something I could wear un tucked and not look sloppy. AND on top of all that I still had to be able to do the perfect front tuck with it. Basically I was looking for the perfect white tee. J. Crew came through (like always it seems). This white tee is perfect to pair with jeans and tennis (un tucked), a skirt and heels (tucked in) and perfect for transitioning into the cooler Fall weather (shorter sleeves with the ability to do a good front tuck). Perfection. I paired my tee with leather leggings from Express, thrifted BDG blazer, structured bag and yules. Since I was keeping everything black and white I added a statement necklace to give that extra pop to my look! The easiest piece of clothing to style would hands down be a white tee. It can be used for a casual look one day or worn out at night for a dressy look. Once you find that special perfectly fitting white tee the possibilities of accessorizing it are endless....except hopefully it's not with nuggets and ketchup.
