I’m not a country girl. Even most of my friends would be surprised to hear that I spent the first couple years of my life living in the country. One of these memorable country moments happened when I was 5 years old. I remember looking out my bedroom window and seeing a cow staring back at me. One of our neighbor’s cows had wandered into our yard. I distinctly remember telling my mom about the cow but she assumed I was joking as most 5 year olds tend to do. Much to her surprise, this time the cow was not imaginary

So now you know, this city girl does know a thing or two about the slower paced life. While I’ve never owned a pair of cowboy boots, I do love a touch of fringe. This skirt was just too fun and I couldn’t help myself so I thought I would take if for a spin in our historic stockyards. The famous Cattlemen’s Restaurant deserves a touch of fringe.
