Pastel Lingerie Partout en Paris!

reversecommuter spent Easter in Paris and as a result I have come to conclusion that French women love their lingerie. Like really love their lingerie. Maybe even like lingerie more than les patisseries (bakery).

It is truly everywhere in Paris. Walking about the Parisian streets one is suddenly in possession of a burning desire to buy MANY lacy, frilly pieces of lingerie in a great variety of colors and styles. A neutral t-shirt bra did not make the shopping list AT ALL!

Printemps is a gorgeous, huge, designer stocked department store that has dedicated an entire floor just to frilly bits. Beautiful, florals, bright hot pinks, seductive blacks, lacy, racy, frilly, sexy, sumptuous lingerie. 2015 is the 50th Anniversary of Printemps so there are pink pastel decorations everywhere!

Aubade is one of reversecommuter's favorite lingerie lines, and whenever I am in Europe I try to stock up due to better selection and price. Their trademark lace up design is trés coquette (very flirty).

La Perla is another crowd pleaser that held major real estate in the Printemps store. DROOLWORTHY lingerie.

La Perla's Everyday Essentials is a new line, softer pricing and ridiculously soft cotton. reversecommuter has numerous pairs of the drawstring pants and tanks - makes for great post bubble bath hangout wear, comfy with a subtle side of sexy (and less than a pair of yoga pants).

There is also Princess Tam Tam, which has stand alone stores plus is in Printemps. Great selection and even better prices.

Sort of a sexier version of Victoria's Secret, imagine that!

So here is a golden nugget of knowledge. Lingerie makes the outfit. It reminds you that you are STILL the sexy little vixen you were before becoming a mother, a chauffeur, a cook, a laundress and a nose wiper extraordinaire. So take a moment to tour the links littered throughout this post, and treat yourself (and the one you love) to a quick Parisian update to your wardrobe.
