We've seen the 70's fashion trend come and go over the years and most recently this past Spring and Summer you could see wide leg jeans, high waisted pants and loose flowy dresses and it's still going strong into Fall which is one trend I am totally on board with!

There are a number of different ways to wear this trend and it can be as bold or subtle as you like. For a bohemian chic take on this trend think maxi dresses paired with faux fur (post coming soon!), patchwork patterns and peasant blouses. Another simple way to incorporate this trend is suede, fringe and wide-legged flared jeans. You can take this look to retro 70's with a pair of round sunnies and bright florals or keep it a bit low key with platforms, jeans and a billowing top like I did for today's OOTD! I've actually had these 7 For All Mankind jeans for at least 8 years, I just couldn't bear to toss them out, 1) because they were expensive and 2) I just knew this trend was going to come back in style, I'm so glad I held on to them!! My floral top has the perfect boho vibe with it's wide sleeves, loose feel and off the shoulder accents. Lastly I added some of my favorite accessories pulling out the blues hues in my outfit I incorporated a wool fedora and a stack of Love Tatum bracelets!
I was just talking to my mom and she told me this is exactly what she wore in the 70's. I'm going to have to do a side by side I think you could get a kick out of how much we look alike, long hair and all!!
